Sweepstakes Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited by law.
Eligibility: Entry open to any user holding a Steam account in good standing, who completes a Wish List with at least ten (10) single game titles. One entry per user and one win per user. Multiple entries/multiple Steam accounts will be disqualified. Employees of Sponsor (including directors and officers) and their immediate families or affiliates are not eligible.
Entry: All eligible Steam account holders with games listed in their account Wish List during the sweepstakes period will automatically be entered. No payment is required; a Steam account may be established without purchase. The sweepstakes starts November 24, 2010, and ends November 29, 2010. Winners will be chosen from the eligible users between the hours of 10 am and 1 pm PST daily.
Winners: Sponsor will select thirty (30) winners by random drawing for each day during the sweepstakes period. Sponsor will contact each winner via email to the address registered to the winning account daily.
Prizes: Each winner will receive a Steam subscription to the top five (5) individual games in the winning account’s Wish List. Prize value depends on the games listed in the Wish List; Steam pricing during the sweepstakes period will determine game value. Prizes are not assignable or transferrable. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to the prizes.
Release: By entering into this contest, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, taxes, expenses or damages of any kind, either at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with this sweepstakes, including the possession, use or inability to use any prize. If chosen as a winner, each entrant hereby consents to the use of his/her name, likeness, photograph in any and all media for promotional purposes in any manner by Sponsor, its designees and its advertising and promotion agencies without further compensation or notification, except where prohibited by law.
General: Sponsor shall not be liable for (i) lost, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or late entries, (ii) any conditions beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the contest to be disrupted, or (iii) any losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from acceptance or use of any prizes awarded in this contest or for participation in this contest. No substitutions by the winners will be permitted, but Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Sweepstakes Rules or to terminate the Sweepstakes. For a copy of these rules or notification of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Steam 2010 Pre-Holiday Sale Sweepstakes Official Rules/Winners List Request, P.O. Box 1688, Bellevue, WA 98009-1688 . Requests for winners' lists must be received by February 28, 2011.
